When you submit the rain-jacket finder, the browser sends the selected feature answers to this site's matching service to compare them with reviewed product facts. After a successful result, the finder keeps the answers in the current browser tab's session storage so you can revisit or change the shortlist. Use “Clear saved answers” in the finder to remove that saved set.

Purchase-page choices

If you actively open a BuyerShortlists page from a result, your public finder choices are carried in the browser's URL fragment so that page can display them separately from its editorial assessment scenario and link back to the finder with the same answers. The fragment is user-controlled text, not proof that a product meets your requirements. Finder answers are not sent to Amazon; following the central page's retailer link is a separate action.

Ordinary web requests

Web servers and hosting providers may process ordinary request and security data under their own policies. The matching request and any linked retailer or central-page service are governed by the relevant service's operation and policies.

Do not put sensitive personal information in finder answers. They ask about rain-jacket preferences only.
